Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how iLANTIX LLC (“iLANTIX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our event-ticketing platform, including our website and any related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

iLANTIX is a ticketing platform that lets event organizers create events and sell tickets to buyers. Organizers receive payments directly through their own connected payment accounts (such as Stripe). iLANTIX does not hold, control, or take custody of ticket funds.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the Services:

Account information. When an organizer registers, we collect details such as name, email address, organization name, and login credentials.

Buyer and attendee information. When you purchase a ticket, we collect information needed to process the order and deliver tickets, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your order. Attendee names may also be collected where an organizer requests them.

Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). iLANTIX does not collect or store full card numbers or bank credentials. Those providers process your payment details under their own terms and privacy policies.

Usage and device information. We may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with the Services, including through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Services, including to create and manage accounts, process ticket orders, deliver tickets and confirmations, calculate and collect platform fees, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve and secure the Services. We may send you transactional messages (such as order confirmations and ticket delivery) and, where permitted, service-related or marketing communications you can opt out of.

How we share information

With event organizers. When you buy a ticket, we share your order and attendee information with the organizer of that event so they can fulfill your order, manage attendance, and communicate with you about the event. Each organizer is responsible for its own use of that information.

With service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate the Services, such as payment processors (Stripe), email delivery providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, and analytics providers, each of whom may process information on our behalf.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

We do not sell your personal information.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are excluded from all sharing described in this section. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. You can update account details in your dashboard, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, and contact us to make a request. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Note that some information shared with an organizer is controlled by that organizer, and you may need to contact them directly for requests about their use of it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

SMS/text messaging

When you provide your phone number and opt in at checkout, we send you transactional SMS messages about your ticket order (such as order confirmations). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely to deliver the transactional messages you requested, and mobile opt-in data is never sold or shared for promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.

iLANTIX Staff mobile app

The iLANTIX Staff app is a tool for event organizers and their authorized staff to check attendees in at the door. It is not used by ticket buyers. When you sign in, the app stores your login securely on your device so you stay signed in during an event.

Camera. The app uses your device’s camera solely to scan ticket QR codes for check-in. Camera images are processed on the device to read the code and are not stored or transmitted.

Offline scanning. So the app keeps working when venue connectivity is poor, you can download an event’s ticket list to your device. This list contains ticket codes and check-in status only—no attendee names or emails. Check-ins made offline are stored on the device and sent to our servers automatically once a connection is available. You can clear this data by signing out or removing the app.

The app accesses attendee information (such as names and email addresses) only for staff who are authorized to view it, and only to help identify a guest at check-in. Access follows the permissions set by the event organizer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
